Rule 1
All users must comply with the regulations set forth for pet import permits. Each permit allows for the importation of up to 10 pets per species type.. It is essential to have updated vaccination records for each pet to ensure a smooth import process. Failure to provide the necessary documentation may result in delays or denial of entry.
Rule 2
Users are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the permit application process is accurate and complete. Any discrepancies may lead to complications with the import process. It is recommended to review all requirements and guidelines thoroughly before submission.
Rule 3
By using our services, you agree to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding pet importation. We are not liable for any issues arising from non-compliance. It is your responsibility to stay informed about the latest requirements and to ensure that all pets meet health and safety standards for entry into the Bahamas.
Rule 4
Payment Terms
* All payments must be made in full at the time of application submission.
* Accepted payment methods: Paypal, Credit Card or Debt Card.
* Transaction Reference: Payments will appear on card statements as D. Enterprises
Rule 5
Permit Validity
* Permits are valid for a single entry into the Bahamas within six (6) Months from the date of issue.
* Permits are non-transferable and cannot be used for multiple entries or for different pets than those listed on the permit.
Rule 6
Cancellation or Changes
* Once a permit application is submitted, no changes or cancellations can be made.
* In the event of a cancellation or change, the applicant may be required to reapply and pay the applicable fees again.
* If the applicant's travel dates change, the permit will remain valid for 6 months from the date of issue until the end of the permit's validity period.
Rule 7
Health Certificate Requirements
* A health certificate for each pet must be obtained from a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours prior to travel.
* The health certificate must be in English and meet the requirements of the Bahamas' import regulations.
Rule 8
Compliance with Regulations
* The applicant is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding pet importation into the Bahamas.
* The applicant must provide all required documentation and information to support the permit application.
Rule 9
Indemnification
* The applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the permit issuer, its officers, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the applicant's failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the permit or the regulations of the Bahamas.
Rule 10
Governing Law
* These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
* Any disputes arising from the permit application or the terms and conditions shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with the Mediation Act of the Bahamas, and if mediation is unsuccessful, through the courts of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
Rule 11
Changes to Terms and Conditions
* The permit issuer reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
* The applicant's continued use of the permit issuer's services after any changes to the terms and conditions shall be deemed acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE – NON-REFUNDABLE TRANSACTION
This payment includes official government fees that are immediately transmitted to the Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture & Marine Resources and BAHFSA upon submission.
• All fees are 100 % final and non-refundable the moment payment is processed.
• No refunds or cancellations are possible under any circumstances — including permit denial, travel changes, or customer error.
Such actions may result in:
– Immediate reporting to Bahamian authorities
– Placement of your name and your pet’s details on a government watch list
– Potential detention of you and/or your pet or service animal upon arrival in The Bahamas
– Substantial administrative fines and/or criminal penalties under Bahamian law
– Permanent refusal of future pet import permits
